The Saturn V Moon rocket was operated by NASA, with major manufacturers that included Boeing, North American Aviation, Douglas Aircraft and IBM. It flew 13 times from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida between 1968 and 1973, sending nine Apollo crews to the Moon and the Skylab space station into Earth orbit. The version seen here is the standard Saturn V that enabled 12 men to walk on the Moon.
